This 17.5 acre property is a small oasis with hill and wetland terrain located in a very densely populated area of our domain in a narrow stretch of land between Lac Rhéaume and Lac Bataille, the two biggest lakes in Perkins-sur-le-Lac (PSLL).  In addition to providing a natural buffer in this dense area, protecting this property from development in perpetuity would provide a long-term refuge for both fauna and flora.  The land contains a significant wetland as well as a small amount of waterfront which would both be protected. There is a small network of trails for the benefit of the community to experience passive recreational activities such as hiking and snowshoeing as well as running environmental educational events on this property.

Conditional Purchase Agreement Completed

CPSLL has negotiated a purchase agreement with the current owners and raised the necessary pledges to purchase the property. All of the community pledges have been collected. We are in the final process of collecting the conservation grants and are expecting to complete the purchase in October or November 2026.
